An established New Hampshire and Massachusetts law firm is looking to add an Associate Attorney to its Southern, New Hampshire office. This is an opportunity for an attorney with a strong litigation background who is ready for greater responsibility, increased client interaction, and a long-term path toward partnership!

You'll have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of legal matters, take ownership of your cases, and develop your practice alongside an established team. While litigation experience is the primary focus, exposure to commercial real estate, condominium, or business law is a plus! The firm is also open to attorneys interested in expanding their practice into these areas.

What You'll Do
  • Manage a variety of litigation matters from initial assessment through resolution.
  • Represent clients in New Hampshire and/or Massachusetts Superior and District Courts.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research, develop case strategies, and advise clients.
  • Handle client communications, negotiations, court appearances, and interactions with opposing counsel.
  • Independently manage matters while collaborating with attorneys and support staff.
  • Gain exposure to commercial real estate, condominium, and business law matters.
  • Build client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.
What We're Looking For
  • 3–5+ years of legal experience, with a strong preference for litigation experience.
  • Experience handling matters in New Hampshire and/or Massachusetts courts.
  • Active admission to either the New Hampshire or Massachusetts Bar, with willingness to obtain admission in the other state.
  • Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to independently manage cases and communicate effectively with clients.
  • Interest in developing a practice, growing client relationships, and pursuing a long-term path to partnership.
  • Commercial real estate, condominium, and/or business law experience is a plus.
  • Motivated, proactive, and entrepreneurial approach to practicing law.
