THE JOB:
As a Porter for Eataly Las Vegas, you will juggle multiple responsibilities both behind the scenes and on the restaurant floor. Your accommodating personality and ability to balance needs of a diverse clientele will be a welcome supporting facilitating a Retail and dining operation that is fun, efficient, and polished without pretense.


THE STARTING RATE: $22.711 hourly


THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Contribute to the integrity of a property-wide inspection program on a regular basis
  • Clean ceilings, walls, and items that may require extended periods of work on a ladder
  • Dust mop and wet mop floors, and operate an auto scrubber
  • Sweep and disinfect floors in main food handling and preparation areas, including underneath main-line equipment
  • Clean restrooms, including sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning urinals and toilets with proper chemicals, wiping down walls and mirrors, and sanitizing sinks
  • Move tables and chairs to set up venues, as well as clean tabletops, doors, and reachable windows as directed throughout the venue
  • Clean and scrub griddles, salamanders, fryers, and ovens in all cooking stations
  • Operate dishwashing equipment to wash china, glassware, and silverware according to SNHD standards
  • Wash and sanitize pots, pans, wares, and additional items in a three-compartment sink according to SNHD standards
  • Maintain the cleanliness and proper working condition of garbage disposals, grease traps, and garbage compactors
  • Follow sanitation and table maintenance standards to deliver exceptional guest service
  • Transport dishes and pots from all areas to the dish pit as needed
  • Remove trash from receptacles, replace full trash bags with clean bags, and wash garbage bins

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • 6+ months of Steward or Utility Porter experience in a hotel, resort, or high-volume food and beverage environment preferred
  • Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
