Purpose:
As part of the Worley Intern Community and under supervision and mentorship within the Autonomous Operations department, you will assist in the delivery of Functional Safety documentation and deliverables on various world release clients.
Overall Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
- Review the P&ID diagrams HAZOP reports, LOPA reports and extract information pertaining to safety instrumented system and functional safety
- Use commercial software tools to prepare safety requirement specifications determine the failure rates of instruments and perform safety integrity level calculations
- Assist the project team members in developing the functional safety deliverable documentation
- participate in group meetings to understand the scope
- collaborate with project team members to answer questions
- collaborate with automation engineers to exchange the information they need
