The Opportunity: Golf Course Foreman
We are seeking a motivated, passionate, and hands-on leader to join our golf course maintenance team. As a Golf Course Foreman, you will bridge the gap between strategy and execution, leading a dedicated crew to maintain the highest standards of championship course conditions. What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities):

  • Supervise daily work assignments for the maintenance staff. Provide clear direction, foster strong team morale, and ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently.
  • Assist in planning and executing major course improvement projects, including drainage installation, bunker renovations, landscaping, and course construction.
  • Monitor turf health, manage hand-watering routines during dry periods, and assist with irrigation system troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Safely operate heavy machinery (mowers, tractors, loaders) and take charge of training new and seasonal staff on proper equipment operation and safety protocols.
  • Mentor crew members, reinforce best practices in turf management, and encourage the professional growth of your team.


What We’re Looking For (Qualifications):

  • Previous experience in golf course maintenance or turf management.
  • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Proficiency in operating heavy equipment and maintenance machinery safely.
  • Knowledge of irrigation systems and turf watering practices.
  • Strong communication, organizational skills, and a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as dictated by golf course operations.
  • Ability to speak Spanish is a plus to help connect with and guide our diverse team.


Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment across varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and operate equipment for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
